Every girl wishes for light hair, but without any damage or saloon’s used harsh chemicals. It’s becoming the new trend that everyone seems in blonde or light hair color. But the interesting fact is, people from ancient times also used to have light hair without any damage or hair loss. One of their natural way to lighten hair is olive oil mixed with pollen and gold flakes which they left under the sun for some hours to have better results.

Let’s discuss the natural and herbal ways to lighten your hair easily at home.

  1. Lemon juice

A first and very effective way to naturally lighten your hair is lemon juice. Vitamin C in lemon juice is the best natural bleaching agent that works without mixing any harsh chemicals.

Today, I will tell you the easy way for lightening your hair with lemon juice.

Ingredients you will need:

  • 2 lemons
  • Half cup of water

Mix these in a bowl or you can use a spray bottle as well, apply the mixture evenly on your hair. After applying, leave your hair for a few hours in sunlight for best results.

  1. Apple Cider Vinegar:

7 Natural and Herbal Ways to Lighten Your HairWhat you’ve to do this

  • ¼ cup of apple cider vinegar
  • 1 lemon juice
  • Half cup of water

Mix all these very well and then apply on roots to naturally lighten your hair.

  1. Honey

A famous blogger revealed that honey mixed with cinnamon works wonders to naturally lighten your hair as the mixture together becomes a natural booster of hydrogen peroxide. Let’s try this at home without any fear of having any damage. Also, it is stated that any herbal oil mixed in any home remedy of hair will show you better results.

  • 4 tablespoon honey
  • 1 tablespoon cinnamon powder
  • Half cup of water
  • 2 tablespoon olive oil/ coconut oil

This mixture will help you to have your desired hair naturally at home.

  1. Salt

Yes, you read it right. Salt is also one of the herbal ways to naturally lighten your hair

Another famous blogger says that salt in the water with being under the sun is all you’re looking for.

You’ll need these supplies:

  • A tablespoon of salt
  • Half cup of water

Apply the mixture on your hair for 15 minutes and stay under the sun for best results.

  1. Herbal Henna

Henna powder is one of the natural ingredients for dying hair. People from ancient times used henna powder to have brown/ light hair immediately.

Ingredients you’re looking for:

  • 4 tablespoons Henna powder
  • Half cup boiling water

If you combine this mixture and leave it overnight, then it will yield long-lasting results. Apply it for 3 hours, then rinse it with lukewarm water while having your favorite shampoo in less amount.

  1. Baking Soda

Baking soda is also known as a natural bleaching agent. Baking soda may be harsh for hair so you will have to be very careful while applying this remedy.

You’ll need:

  • Half cup baking soda
  • Water up to desire

You have to mix these ingredients and make a paste. If the paste will be thin, it won’t cover evenly and if it gets too thick then it will dry so quickly and won’t work well.

As I above mentioned, baking soda can be a little harsh for your hairs so I recommend you to apply this exactly for 15 minutes and then rinse it with lukewarm water+ shampoo. After this also apply your favorite conditioner to have a flawless finish.

  1. Chamomile:

Chamomile is the best natural way for bleaching your hair. My mother swears chamomile to lighten the darker hair so let’s try our mother’s herbal method this time.

Things you will need:

  • A cup of chamomile
  • Boiling water

First, brew the chamomile cup of tea strong and then let it cool for some time. Now you can apply the individual hair strands like highlights or the easiest way, you can apply evenly on your all hair for one shade. For better results go under the sun and let it dry completely, then finish it by washing it with your shampoo.

Precautions

All these above-mentioned methods are safe, but this is to be noted that everyone has a different hair texture so the results can vary. You can also have a strand test before applying any remedy to your full hair. I also suggest that all-natural bleaching agent doesn’t damage your hair like chemicals do, but they can also give you dry hair texture. So after using any herbal remedy don’t forget to condition your hair perfectly.
