Ever changing, ever challenging, it does go on. One shares one's path with a pup, an old dog, a favorite pair of new friends. Then someone moves on, they, we, both of us, all of us. Then we find new travelers for the next portion of the path.

Our best-loved couple here in Truchas is moving on to new adventures, to Florida. I know, I said the same thing. To FLORIDA?!?!? But they have a motive and it's not completely mad. Especially not after spending five of the winters we get here. And not the least of which is we WILL be visiting them in wintertime!!

Ah, but parting IS such sweet sorrow...We wish them the best but will miss them madly. Along with recent departees Little Willie and "The Big Guy" Elway.
