Ill-timed decree

I suppose we can only grow after we experience a myriad repertoire of events, some encouraging and others, overwhelming. We tend to be myopic, and only view events in segmented portions. An insult to the educational potential of events, as the wise men say, we learn from occurrences. In totality, we should see the entire profile of an event, analyse the inherent learning possibilities and mature with it. Indeed, though the traveling time spent on the bike course is very darn significant, the lessons learnt makes it partly worthwhile. I mean, I've always thought that physicality and muscular-coordination is a gift I have - wrong, big time. Friends, never assume. I admit, I ain't the best rider on Earth, but I do try. And I try quite hard see. The entire journey made me understand myself a little more. Towards complete intra-personal intelligence we strive.

Additionally, we really shouldn't judge someone with mutated perceptions. The one I thought was horrid and sarcastic and undermining of my abilities turned out to be a very thoughtful and caring father. He spoke to me of his family issues and his concern with the middle child. I do feel very much ashamed of my act, my ignorance and my arrogance. There are things that we cannot appraise at face-value. Some people are sincerely honest and brutally truthful. Yes, a little not so tactful but we cannot consider them rude in any sense, their intention is excellent.

A lesson learnt indeed. Three more days to prove my appreciation for him. And I  apologise for the untimely verdict.
