| At Sears today, I missed out on two credit applications, just by dumb luck. (They're a big deal - you get a bonus for getting them, and there are goals you're expected to reach.) One came while I was at lunch, and the guy subbing for me got it. Then in the afternoon I was busy with a customer and a coworker happened by and took the next customer in line - and she ended up applying for a credit card. If I hadn't taken lunch when I did, and if that coworker hadn't been passing by, I would have gotten three apps today (I did eventually get one of my own, toward the end of my shift). Oh well, I'll hope for better luck tomorrow. |
