An 85 year old woman, thankful she has her 2nd amendment rights, held a small .22 caliber pistol (varment pelter) on a burglar that was attempting to rob her house.

Leda Smith told reporters that "I just walked right on past him to the bedroom and got my gun," and went on to say she keeps it by her bed because the neighbor's home was recently burglarized.  "I said 'What are you doing in my house?' He just kept saying he didn't do it," Leda Smith said. She then forced the burglar to call 911 and turn himself in. No property stolen and no damage done! All because a pistol-packing woman refused to be victomized.
