I know you have seen and felt things as a child that has made you who you are, and I am so happy to see what a steel-solid person you have molded yourself into. It is as if our lives are mirrored, that every year we were the same age and having very similar experiences. I think we are the generation that gave some sort of impression that we could endure vast amounts of trauma, neglect and abuse. I know my step parents believed it like it was a religion, and they practiced it even more. Add me to the list of lives you have touched!

How interesting. A show business person. One of the things I found working with parents is that when a crisis would develop the reaction was to reach for a belt, a stick, what the hell, why not a baseball bat?
Alway, always, it seems whether spoken or unspoken, the idea that we grab something to beat the kid is in the back of someones mind.
So I threw it in there, as you know as an actress, there are many thing s we can communicate without it being in the script.
